My name is Zahid Amir Khan. I am an Associate Member (R-3694) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from May 2002. I passed the CA Professional Exams of Winter 2001.
During my articleship from M/S M. Yousuf Adil Saleem & Co. (Chartered Accountants) from January 1998 to December 2001, I conducted various external audits, internal audit assignments and special assignments relating to Textile, Financial & Services Sectors. I was promoted to Audit Supervisor from July 2001 to December 2001 in the Audit Firm.
Later on, I worked in Textile Sector about 6 years as Finance/ Accounts Head in Faisalabad. In January 2008, I moved to Rawalpindi. I worked in Interconnect Revenue Department of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, Headquarters, Islamabad.
Currently, I am working in Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (a Public Sector Organization) from August 2008 as Principal Accounts Officer.
Besides my industry experience, I engaged in teaching for subjects of Financial Reporting & Disclosure Practices, Financial Accounting and Cost & Management Accounting to the students of M.Com, MBA and PIPFA.
